OBC and Minority cell of St Anne’s degree college Virajpet embarked its presence from 1st July 2017 and since it is committed on providing a safe environment that promotes diversity and respect to everyone regardless of Colour, religion, belief, and culture, Meanwhile it is also protecting the rights of Minorities and other backward committees respecting the rules and regulation of The constitution of India.

OBJECTIVES:

To provide a safer, and dignified environment for such coming under this category,
To Empower the faculty and students falling under this category,
To handle the issue and reach out the facility available to them,
To encourage the students falling under this category by providing scholarship and other financial help,
To make aware the students about the potentials which they can avail.
