The church at virajpet came into existence in the year 1792 for the Christian settlers. The church was dedicated to the honor of St. Anne and was called St. Anne’s Church-Virajpet.

To fulfill the needs of south kodagu the Parish Priest of St. Anne’s church Rev. Fr G.M Nunes started the lower primary school during the period of 1841-1850.

The college was started in the honor of St. Anne, mother of Blessed Virgin Mary and established on 1st June,2007 by the Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Gilbert D’ silva and principal Rev Fr Madalai Muthu.

The year 2017-2018 was the year of glory and joy. St. Anne’s Church celebrated its 225th year, St.Anne’s School celebrated 175 years and St. Anne’s PU completed 25 years and St.Anne’s Degree gloriously completed 10 years.

The college is a place of divine providence, where the divine intervention for all category of students, is properly channelized through instrumentality of correspondent, Principal and eminent lecturers.
