“Education is not filling a pail but the lighting of a fire”
-William Butler Yeats.

Every journey invariably starts with a single step and the journey to scale great heightsneeds unflinching grit and relentless efforts. With the same determination we had embarked on a journey in 2009 by setting up commerce department. The commerce department started with 60 students and has grown to 375 students.

The curriculum is taught by the most distinguished faculty combining academic and realworld experience with a lot of dedication and commitment. We also motivate learning through classroom seminars, guest lectures, industrial visit, quiz, subscription to newspaper and magazines.

We not only educate our students by dissemination of knowledge, but empower them with appropriate skills and ability to take up new challenges of the corporate world. At St. Annes we equip students with study skills and business oriented thinking critical to modernand global commerce. We encourage students to participate in commerce and management events organized by other colleges and also get involved in activities of social relevance. Our students have bought laurels to the college by winning in varies academic cultural, sports and other competitions atuniversity and national levels.

Our college has a well equipped placement and career guidance cell and every year many recruiters visit our campus to provide employment opportunities to our students. It is a matter of great pride that we find Annes at various academic, cultural, sports and other competitions at university and national levels.
