HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

English is a west Germany language that originated from Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain in the mid 5th to 7th centuries AD by Anglo-Saxon settlers. The Father of English literature is Geoffery Chaucer. English is called as 'Lingua Franca', English is a global language and also the movement towards an international standard for the language. English is spoken throught out the world.

The department of English language is rather inclined to congragulate itself on its antiquity. Department marked its begining ever since the inception of the institution in the year 2007. Initialy BCA (Bachelor of computer Application), BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) and B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) courses where offered and language English is compulsory for all these courses.

The Department of English aims for the Holistic development of the students. The remarkable achivement of our department is in terms of successful graduates who are now serving the society in diverse capacities in various central, state and private organization.
