CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL

Introduction

A placement cell play a major role in helping the students to find a job according to the programmes opted by them. The cell conducts activities such that it enables the students develop the skills needed to build their career. It keeps in touch with the companies and invites them to conduct campus interviews.

The placement cell of the college was established in the year 2017. The cell is headed by Rev. Fr. IssacRathnakar, Principal. Mr. Joyson Lobo, Lecturer, Dept of Commerce was appointed as Placement Officer. An advisory committee was also formed to guide and carry out the activities of the cell smoothly.

The cell arranges training programmes like mock interview, group discussions, communication skills, workshops, invite companies for campus recruitment, programmes to create awareness on different competitive exams, Industry and company visits etc. It also invites representatives from different companies to conduct career counselingprogrammes for final year students.

Objectives:

1. Developing the students so as to meet the industrial recruitment process
2. To place the students in various companies through campus and off-campus interviews.
3. To arrange training programmes
4. Industry and company visit
